City Star Group is a professional manufacturer and exporter of glass and glass-related products in China, with more than 20 years of experience in the glass business. We are not a trader that buys from the spot market and resells; the group is built around its own factories, its own processing capacity and its own export warehouses. That structure is the reason we can quote a wide range of products quickly, and keep specification, packing and delivery dates under our own control instead of passing them down a chain of intermediaries.

Our brand, CITYSTAR, is known to buyers in Europe, America, Africa and South America, and our products have been successfully exported to more than 100 countries and regions. Over the years we have supplied importers, distributors, fabricators, project contractors and online sellers of very different sizes. The way we work does not change with the size of the account: a clear specification, a competitive price, a confirmed delivery schedule, and one person who answers the phone.

A GROUP BUILT ON MANUFACTURING

Our production is spread across several factories and wholly-owned subsidiaries, supported by a warehouse network in China's main glass and port cities.

Huizhou Huixin Technology is a branch factory of the group, located in Huizhou, Guangdong. Operating in one of southern China's most active manufacturing regions gives the group a southern production and shipping option, which shortens transit for customers in Asia-Pacific and serves as a second production site when northern capacity is fully booked.

Anhui City Glass Co., Ltd is our production base in Anhui province, in the same region as our head office operation. It carries a large share of our day-to-day production, cutting, edging and packing work, and it is the base from which most inland and river-port shipments are organised.

Qinhuangdao Huayou Glass is a wholly-owned subsidiary in Qinhuangdao, Hebei, one of China's main float glass centres. Being inside that cluster gives us direct access to the northern float glass supply, short inland transport to the northern ports, and better control over lead times on large float glass and mirror orders, which are always the shipments where a few days matter most.

Alongside production, we operate our own export warehouses in Shahe, Qingdao, Qinhuangdao and Tianjin. In practice this is the part customers feel every month. Stock from several product lines can be consolidated in one place, mixed containers can be loaded with float glass, mirror, laminated glass and smart film together, and goods can be inspected and re-packed before shipment rather than after a claim. When a customer needs a fast replenishment on an item already in stock, we do not have to wait for a full production cycle. Four warehouses also mean four loading options, so we can choose the port that gives the better sailing schedule or the lower inland cost for a particular destination.

OUR PRODUCT RANGE

Our range covers the glass and mirror products most requested by architectural, decorative and residential buyers.

Clear float glass is our volume product: the standard transparent glass used for windows, doors, shop fronts, furniture and general fabrication. It is the base material for most of what we sell, and it is the product we hold in the largest stock across the warehouses.

Ultra clear float glass is produced with a low iron content, which removes the green tint of ordinary float glass. That matters for façades, mirrors, laminated assemblies, and any finished product where the colour of the glass would change the colour of what is behind it.

Tinted float glass, in the usual grey, bronze, green and blue families, reduces glare and solar heat gain and gives a building a consistent colour from floor to floor. Reflective glass adds a metallic coating that controls solar radiation and creates the mirrored façade appearance common in commercial buildings.

In mirrors we supply aluminium mirror and silver mirror. Aluminium mirror is the economical choice for general decoration and furniture. Silver mirror offers higher reflectivity and a cleaner, truer image, and is the normal specification for bathroom mirrors, wardrobe doors and higher-end interior work.

Our safety and performance glazing range covers laminated glass, in which two or more panes are bonded with a PVB or SGP interlayer that holds the fragments in place and keeps the glass in its frame after breakage; insulating glass, sealed double or triple glazed units with a desiccant-filled spacer, air, argon or krypton and optional low-E coating, cutting heat loss, heat gain and condensation while adding an acoustic margin; flat tempered glass, heat treated and rapidly cooled to roughly four to five times the strength of annealed glass and breaking into small blunt granules for doors, balustrades and shop fronts; bent tempered glass, the same process applied to curved panes produced to an approved radius and chord for façades, canopies and skylights; curtain wall glass, normally tempered or heat-strengthened, laminated and insulating glass combined with a solar-control coating to carry wind load, meet the safety class and match the façade colour; and multi-layer insulating laminated curtain wall glass, three or more panes in one sealed unit with one or more laminated and often two cavities and low-E coatings, our highest thermal and acoustic specification, cut and assembled to drawing, packed in purpose-made crates and shipped on edge.

Smart glass and smart film are the products architects and designers ask us about most often. Switchable smart glass changes from clear to frosted at the touch of a switch, giving privacy on demand without blinds or curtains. Smart film delivers the same effect on existing glass, so a customer can upgrade a façade or a partition without replacing the panes. We supply both, and we advise on which one fits a given project before the order is placed.

APPLICATIONS WE SERVE

Architectural glass: curtain walls, windows, doors, shop fronts and partition systems, where appearance, safety and solar control all have to be satisfied at the same time.

Decorative and interior glass: mirrors, lacquered and back-painted glass, furniture glass and feature walls for hotels, retail and residential interiors.

Residential and commercial glazing: bathroom mirrors, wardrobe doors, table tops, balustrades and laminated safety glass for family use and public spaces.

Specialist projects: privacy glass for offices, meeting rooms, clinics and vehicles, supplied as smart glass or as retrofit smart film.

QUALITY CONTROL AND PACKING

Quality is handled where it can still be corrected — during production and before packing, not after the container has sailed.

Glass is checked for dimension, thickness, flatness, coating and visual defects against the specification confirmed at the quotation stage. Mirrors are checked for reflectivity and for the quality of the backing layer. Where a customer requires it, inspection can be arranged before loading and photographs of the packed crates sent for approval.

Packing is designed for the journey, not only for the factory floor: strong crates, correct interleaving, moisture protection, and clear shipping marks. A container that arrives with broken corners costs the customer far more than the glass itself, in replacement, in delay and in lost sales, so we treat packing as part of the product.

EXPORT, LOGISTICS AND DOCUMENTATION

With four export warehouses and long experience in container shipping, we handle the practical side of an order: choosing the loading port, planning container utilisation, preparing packing lists and commercial documents, and coordinating with the customer's forwarder or with ours. LCL and mixed loading are normal for us, not exceptions. For regular customers we can also hold stock against a forecast so that repeat orders ship faster.

When you send an enquiry, tell us the product, thickness, size, quantity, colour or coating, and the destination port. We will confirm what is available from stock, what needs production, the packing weight, the container plan and a realistic lead time. If a specification is not clear, our technicians will propose the workable option and explain the difference in cost and performance, so the decision is made before the order rather than after it.

Samples can be arranged for approval on new products or new specifications. For customers developing their own brand, we can discuss private label and packing marks. For project work, we can supply technical data and drawings support so that the glass is specified correctly the first time.
