City Star Glass introduces the Smart Glass 0606 Plus Series — our flagship large-format switchable glass solution, engineered for architects and developers who demand single-panel spans up to 3 meters tall, thicker structural glass, and maximum optical performance in the most demanding architectural environments.

Laminated with genuine Filmbase® PDLC film between two 6mm super-clear glass panels, the 0606 Plus Series represents the top tier of our smart glass product line. It is built for curtain walls, feature facades, double-height lobbies, and oversized glass partitions where ordinary smart glass panels simply cannot reach.

Why the 0606 Plus Series?

Our 0404 series (4mm+4mm) is perfect for standard interior partitions. Our 0505 series (5mm+5mm) steps up to 2000×2800mm for larger commercial installations. The 0606 Plus Series goes further — 6mm+6mm glass construction and a maximum panel size of 2000mm × 3000mm — enabling seamless, floor-to-ceiling glass installations with fewer vertical mullions and a more open, uninterrupted visual field.

Thicker 6mm glass also means:

How It Works

At the heart of the 0606 Plus Series is Filmbase® Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) film — a layer of liquid crystal droplets encased in a polymer matrix, laminated between two glass panels using EVA interlayer.

Power ON: An electric field aligns the liquid crystal molecules uniformly. Light passes straight through, and the glass becomes crystal clear — indistinguishable from ordinary architectural glass.

Power OFF: The molecules return to a random, scattered state. Light is diffused, and the glass instantly turns into a frosted, opaque white surface — providing complete visual privacy.

No curtains. No blinds. No mechanical parts. Just a single press of a button (or a tap on your phone, a wave of your hand, or an automated sensor) and your glass adapts to the moment.
